Every day we're bombarded with a million commercials, banners and personalized ads — a buzzing, click-baiting assault. 90% of these do nothing to engage us, and here is why.
Most of these ads don't use the oldest trick known to man. Storytelling has been around upwards of 20,000 years, back in the days when our giant flat screens were giant cave walls. No wonder it seems old. But that’s exactly what makes it so powerful. It is how we engage. How we explain life to each other. Statistics can sway us, but a good story can reach us where we make decisions: in our hearts. We can be persuaded by facts and figures, but great storytelling can set our souls alight and inspire us to act. |

We make films to help build trust between brands and their customers. With years of experience in scriptwriting, producing and filmmaking, we create the right concepts, powerful stories and happy clients.
To create a story it needs to be structured. A 30-second Super Bowl ad follows the same 3-act structure that goes all the way back to Aristotle, with a clear introduction, a complication and a dramatic climax. This is how engagement is created, and desired outcomes achieved. And there's science to this. Research has found that we produce the stress hormone cortisol during tense moments, which helps us focus. Cute pets or kids cause us to release oxytocin, the feel-good chemical that promotes connection and empathy, and a happy ending triggers the release of dopamine, which makes us feel hopeful and optimistic. And inspires us to engage, and act. All this to say, we know our stuff. And we're good at it. |
